Re: Gas tank removal, need help!

I am removing the gas tank from a 71 spider.  I have taken out five screws and
disconnected everything,but the tank, which seems to just sit in there, will
not come out.  There does seem to be some sort of foam or sealer around part
of the tank.  How does this tank come out and what is the best way to remove
it.  I am determined to save this car.     Thanks,. Norm.
