G'day all y'all.

I've just purchased some interesting software - VersaCheck - from
CompUSA for around $20. It comes with check forms, and allows to
custom print your own blank check forms for either hand writing, or
for use with software like Quicken, MS Money, and so on. 

What it means is that you can place your favourite Alfa, Ferrari,
whatever image as a background image for your checks. Works with
Inkjet and laser printers, but (obviously) a colour printer would give
you a much more attractive looking check.

And for those of us in the Dallas area, (and who may not have a colour
printer) I was at MicroCenter yesterday where they were selling Canon
BJC250 printers for $130, and there was a $30 mail-in rebate off that.
 Those in other areas might wish to look for similar deals, but to my
jaundiced eyes, $100 for a colour printer doesn't sound too bad at all.

No affilliation, association, incestuous relationships, etc with any
of the afforementioned whatevers.

Except Alfas, of course.
