	Go ahead and replace the heat valve since it is easy to do now than
when the heater is installed.  Those valves close up over time (the rubber
expands inside the unit) until only a trickle comes out.

	Also, have a look at your heater fan to see if needs some
lubrication or replacement.  Drill a hole in the bottom of the plastic fan
holder so that if any water should get in there, it will drain in to the
cockpit floor/carpet rather than having the fan motor sit in water and then
freeze up later on.

	There are two hoses to the heater core; one on each side.  The
drivers side hose is higher up on the firewall than the passengers side.
Are you sure that it was coolant that was spraying/dripping onto the
exhaust manifold?
