Alfa Ricambi USED to carry some repro Daytona wheels. This was
about 7 years back. I bought a set (and, no, they're not for
sale) which I have on my Duetto - they look great! It seems
that I recall that these wheels were made in Brazil, though that
might be heresay. Yea, I know - Ricambi and others offer a bunch
of aftermarket wheels, and some look sorta like Daytonas - that's
not what I am referring to, though - the ones that I got were about
97% faithful to the original design. The price seemed high to me
back in '91 (or thereabouts) - around $175 a wheel as I recall -
though given the current situation, I guess they were a bargain.
You could do worse than to contact Alfa Ricambi, and ask them
about current availability. I suspect that the source discontinued
making them due to lack of volume.
