Speed Traps

I heard the other day, that AAA and, I think the Missouri Department of
Transportation, had reached an agreement to modify the spacing of the paint
stripes heading into a certain town famous for speed traps.  The modification
would be to make the spacing closer as you neared the town so it would appear
that you were speeding up and then you would instinctively slow down, thus
avoiding the speed trap in the town.

Who says the DOT doesn't have a sense of humor.
