A few years ago I programmed the state capitals of the 48 contiguous states and
asked Automap Pro to plan the best route (i.e. shortest) There was a variance
of about 300 miles in the sampling of starting points.  A trip to all the state
capitals would be about 33,000 miles.  That'd take a few weeks.
