I just placed about a $300 order with them and asked for a catalog. I was
suprised to hear them tell me that would cost $6. It has been my experience
with most vendors that if you place a decent size order the catalog is sent for
free, many times even if you don't ask for it. IAP sent me a free catalog and
I didn't even order from them yet.

OTOH, the guy I talked to at ARR was very helpful, and seemed to know what he
was talking about. A number of things he didn't know he went and asked and
returned with answers. Everything I ordered was in stock (he said) except a
braided steel brake hose kit for my GTV6. They were supposed to call back
about that but haven't so far. Guess the true test will be if everything
arrives and fits my car...

And BTW, they gave me what seemed like a great price on an Ansa rear muffler
for the GTV6 - $150. A lot less than the IAP catalog price. They seemed ready
to bargain on some stuff when my initial reaction to their first quote was not
to order the part. Also, they seemed to have plenty of business since while I
was ordering their phones were ringing off the hook.
