RE: Milano questions

Michael,

1. There is a little rubber grommet between the plastic tank and the pump.
2. The door panels are held on by little plastic clips that snap into holes
in the door I think there are about 8 of them. You need to slip something
behind them to pop them out of the door. You can probably get the tool for
removing these clips at a good auto parts place, or you can use a
screwdriver if you are careful. Either way you will probably break some of
the clips but you can get replacements at the same place you got the tool.
Once you get the panel off you can see the back of the handle. Two 8mm nuts
hold it on. I don't think you have to take them all the way off, just loosen
them and you can slip the old gasket out and the new one in. don't over
tighten the nuts you will rip the studs out of the handles or dent the
doors.
3. Quit yanking on the doors so hard to close them. I put 180,000 miles on
my Verde without ever breaking one. But I replaced several on the passenger
side. (things that make you go Hmmmmmm).
