re: IAP Oil guage

I don't have a direct answer, since I have no experience with this gauge.
However, I think it is very pricey (close to $100 with the mounting panel, S/H
etc). Unless there is something very special about this gauge, I would
strongly recommend checking out the gauges made by Autometer
(http://www.autometer.com/). They have 2 inch and 2 5/8 inch gauges,
mechanical and electrical, in several different finishes. I have some of their
gauges in my Camaro and like them.

They don't sell direct, but are available from most major mail order parts
catalogs (eg. Summit). The mechanical oil gauge can be had complete with
fittings for about $35. They also make various mounting options. The gauge
reads in PSI, not kPa or whatever the usual AR gauges are, but I think the IAP
gauge does too. Also, the fittings are NPT, and I don't know if that will work
on an Alfa (or even an Alfa Romeo ;-) since I am still a list newbie. Just
thought this might help you save some $$$.

Hope this helps,
