Cross-ply racing tires

Has any of you here tried cross-ply racng tires such as Dunlop CR65 or Good
Year Blue Streak?
I am thinking of trying them instead of the racing radials on my Giulia GTV.
But actually I have no idea how different in suspension setting would be
from that of radial tires.
I would love to hear your advise.
For your reference, my GTV has LSD, and a complete set of Ward&Dean
springs&swaybars(rear adjustable).
