The current film, Ronin, was directed by John Frankenheimer who also did
Grand Prix back in 1966, staring James Garner.  I saw Grand Prix recently
on SpeedVision, and an interview with the director in which he said he used
essentially the same techniques to stage the chase scenes in Ronin as he
did with Grand Prix.  The only difference being that the car chases in
Ronin took place on busy Paris streets with cars going in both directions.
Enzo Ferrari is said to have been so impressed with his filming technique
during the production of Grand Prix that he (Enzo) put the entire Ferrari
team at the filmmakers disposal.  If you like Ronin or love Formula One,
