The right components for Dellortos

I am still trying to debug all the bad things that previous owners have done
to my '69 GTV (e.g. the brake lines were rerouted to convert the brakes to
single circuit -- not sure why, but she once again has two circuits). The
car is fitted with a 2000 motor with Dellorto 40DHLAs and a Crane XR700
ignition. Other than that, I believe the engine is stock (cams, cam timing,
exhaust manifold, etc.) This weekend, I took a closer look at the carbs
(40DHLA) and found the following inside:
Choke - 32mm
Auxiliary Venturi - 7848.1
Air Corrector - 230
Emulsion Tube - 7772.11
Main Jets - 142
Idle Jet - 58
Idle Jet Holder - 7850.9
According to the Brooklands manual, I have the right chokes installed, but
the wrong main jets (should be 135). According to the book "How to Build &
Power Tune Weber & Dellorto DCOE & DHLA Carburetors" the various components
above are all wrong for a 2.0L motor and aren't really consistent with one
another (i.e. some of the pieces are sized for much bigger engines and
others for much smaller engines). Can anyone tell me the correct parts that
I should have in the carburetors for a basically stock 2000 engine?
Thanks,
John
