I had Pirelli Winter 210Ps on our 164. I was unable to find conditions
that would stop the car, including a Western Michigan lake effect blizzard
in January. Visibility was a problem, but traction was not. They also
went from Chicago to New York in rain, slush, sleet and snow.

These were not the most recent generation Pirelli Winter tires, I
believe they have since changed the tread slightly, and added an 'Ice'
compound.

On top of that, they aren't too noisy in the dry, wear well, and aren't
horrible on nice days.
