Re: milano insurance help needed

Peter,
You must remember that when working with your insurance company, in most
states in the U.S., if you are at fault you will only get what you pay for.
That is, theoretically, you pay a premium based on the value which the
insurance carrier has calculated for your vehicle. So, if they go by the
Kelley Blue Book, then they, again in theory, charge you accordingly. If you
want better coverage then you should do this before you get the policy, tell
them what your vehicle is worth. If you vehicle is not a total loss then you
should be able to take it to a shop(s) and work from damage estimates.
However, it the damage is a high enough percentage, usually 75-80%, of the
value that you have been paying for you may out of luck.
