Milano Pivot Fork

In no.154, there was a query from Gary on replacing the clutch
fork, and Ken's answer .....
"The clutch fork slides on each side of the pivot ball.
Hopefully you have a pivot ball and pivot ball breakage did
not prompt the maintenance effort. Insert the rod into the clutch
slave, push and place the other end of the rod onto the fork
 indention".

On this, I think I saw a post some months ago with some further
info about fork installation...... something about needing to take
care that the release bearing is correctly aligned (i.e. rotated on its
shaft) such that the fingers of the fork bear onto the two flats on
the bearing unit... or something of that nature. Can anyone else
recall? If not, then Gary, email me if you like, and I'll see if I can
find the hard copy which I made, and filed away in some safe
place where it would never get lost......

Best regards,
Graham H,
New Zealand.

(Creaking Alfetta clutch operation recently silenced by a simple
drop of grease on the fork....... whew, that was easy! Thanks
Digesters for that tip)
