Re: Exploding Coil



I'm sure you will get 100 replies to this, but... If the 82 is like my
79/80 Spider there is no accessory key position to run the radio without
energizing the coil. So if the motor stops with the points in the closed
(grounded) position the coil will be drawing current and burn up.
	If the 82 has electronic ignition than I don't know what happened.
