YES! I had to try it on my 2.5 Milano shortly after I bought it ---- the
vacuum hose going to the air chamber over center of engine dropped into and
jammed the accelerator swivel.  I got is slowed enough to turn off the key
without blowing the engine!  Anybody with later than 87 Milano notice how they
now have a stiff hose with a bend in it now!   Apparently I wasn't the only
one.
