Suspension
Just another belated point in the suspension theory thread: don't
forget that the front suspension is working in 3D: when you are going
around the corner the wheel is turned relative to the direction the
car is facing. This means that the castor angle influences the
effective camber angle of the wheel, as well as any changes due to
the more-or-less planar motion of the wishbones/upright assembly.
Hence adjustments to the castor angle can also affect how the car
behaves/feels.

Forgot to go to work today and spent the day under the Alfa with the
MIG welder and grinder (more of latter than former with my welding
skills!). Nearly got something to bolt the antiroll bar to.... and
now have a very sore neck: the joys of welding while lying on the
floor! Gotta get this finished, can't cope with driving the borrowed
toymota any longer...
