hard starting Bosch Spider

The Bosch ECU *requires* 10.5 volts or it won't fire the spark plugs.
If the battery is marginal, you may not be getting the required voltage
even tho the engine will crank since the cranking pulls the voltage
down.  Solution is probably a new battery, but you should clean up the
connections and the clamps, especially the cable that runs from the
negative terminal to the chassis ground in the trunk.
