I must have the logic wrong in this...  If I have a tube with mercury in it
wrapped around my driveshaft, when the driveshaft spins, the mercury will
try and move outward, and will collect at the point furthest away from the
driveshaft (which will be opposite of where you would put a weight to
balance the shaft).  This is assuming that the mercury wouldnt just stay
where it was while the tube spins around with the shaft...

this doesnt make any sense, therefore, I deduce that there is more to this
device than just a tube with mercury in it.			

Help me, I dont understand...
