Re: Sputtering and Historics

There are lots of possibilities for stumble, but the best and weirdest I know
of is getting bits of shaved rubber hose stuck in your pressure regulator
after changing your fuel filter. Honest, it happened. The sharp edge of the
filter must have chunked off some of the rubber, which moved downstream and
got caught in the regulator...

BTW, learned a real lesson about getting into the Historics--buy tickets in
advance and get a corral pass! The changes to general admission parking made
it a miserable experience. Got there Saturday at 8:45am, and spent the next
hour in bumper-to-bumper up to "Lookout Ridge". Newly mowed lot was dusty,
slippery, and steep. "Texas mass-transit" (well, the driver was from Iowa,
but the contractor was from Texas) to the gate was funky. Many pissed-off
fellow tram riders. Good show, though. A shame Peter Giddings wasn't there.
