164 Questions

Hi!  I just purchased a 164L (auto) about three months ago and have some
questions about the car.  First off, these cars are not as simple as the
older Alfas, like spiders, for instance.  

1. What is the normal operating temp of the 164?  Mine runs about 212 in
traffic and around 193 on the highway.  I do not think my fan is coming
on at the right time.  Where and what do I look for?  Also, should the
ac radiator get hot when I turn on the heater to "HI"?  Mine does and
kicks on the fan.

2.  How do I get the "Brake" and the "Pad wear" idiot lights to turn
off?  I have repalce the pads (F&R) and the idiot lights remain on while
driving the car.  Now, the "Stop" idiot light comes on now and then
while driving the car, what is the cause of that?

3.  Is there a trick to get the windshield out of the car without
breaking it?  I need to have some rust fixed on the body of the car and
need to get the glass out to have that accomplished.

4.  Is there a tune-up manual for the 164?  I have purchased the 164
CarDisc, but have not had the time to go through it yet.  Does it cover
a section on tune-ups? 

Also, if anybody would like to share anything I need to know about the
164 (ways to improve perf., things to look out for, just new owner
stuff), all replies are welcome.
