I looked further into this false claim by an unknown California Alfa
Service Rep and find no such bulletin was ever published by Alfa Romeo.
I have been assured that I am correct by the guy who knows about every
bulletin ever sent out from ARI. FRED, I HAVE NEVER SEEN SUCH A
STATEMENT, WHERE IS THE REFERENCE.??????? PERSONALLY, MY EXPERIENCES
SHOWS THIS TO BE UNTRUE. THERE IS NO REASON WHY THE PUMP/GOVERNOR CANT
THRIVE ON A SYNTHETIC. WHERE ARE THE FACTS HERE? MANY OWNERS ARE AND
HAVE BEEN USING SYNTHETICS FOR YEARS WITH PROBLEMS. THIS STATEMENT
SEEMS UNFOUNDED, ESPECIALLY WITHOUT DOCUMENTATION. ANYWAY WHO IS THE
"REP"?

Godfrey, I too would like to know that Rep, your service guy. Regards,
Fred Di Matteo
