Old grille badge

The letters SPQR relate back to the Roman Republic. They stand for =

"Senatus Populusque Romanus",  in Latin, or "The Senate and
the People of Rome", in English.

Perhaps this grille badge is REALLY old -- from the Roman Sports
Chariot Club. Does it have the RSC Club motto --" Veni, Vidi, Voloce"?
Check the back for an engraved name, like M. Antonius
or C.J. Caesar. =
