Steering Box Removal

Someone posted a question about removing the steering box.....

If it is a GTV with the universal jointed column/box, the easiest way to 
remove the box is to unbolt the u-joint near the fire wall.

If it is the solid column version.... I THINK you have to remove the 
box/column all at once..... but I've never done that, so I can't say for 
sure.
