105/115 Steering Box Questions/Survey

A couple of months ago, I fabricated and installed a steering box brace for
my '74 gtv, to get rid of the annoying flex in the body where the box
mounted.

I want to write up the story, but want to have my research completed first.

Looking through my parts book (CD-ROM), there are two Burman boxes shown.
One has the steering shaft/column bolted to the box, the other (like mine)
has the steering shaft connected to the box via a u-joint. Both part
numbers are 105 series numbers.

Can owners of 105/115 alfas let me know the year, model, and steering
column/box configuration so I can have some empirical data?

Can owners of parts catalogs check them out to see what cars/years got the
solid steering versus the u-jointed steering?

Thanks for your help.
