[alfa] how to sell a car on eBay (not specifically Alfa-related)

Hello Alfisti, 

Someone from a non-car digest I belong to would like to sell her Jeep and 
it's been suggested she try eBay. 

She's apprehensive because of possible listing fees and is wary of 
any complications that might arise after the selling process. 

I know many of you have used eBay to sell and/or buy Alfas or other cars. 
Do you have any suggestions/caveats/BEST PRACTICES that I could pass along 
to her?
