The way I read this, Dean is entitled to a replacement top *after* he
returns his existing top?  Even with a vendor that had a reputation for
quick service, what should such a customer do in the mean time?  Leave the
car exposed to the weather?  At a minimum the customer would certainly lose
the use of the vehicle in inclement weather.

I'd think there might be a way to resolve this without leaving the customer
'exposed', so to speak.
