Next time, instead of Rustoleum, use POR-15 - much better! I have been 
using POR-15 for almost 20 years - often in marine applications where salt 
water is everywhere - works like magic. See their web

NOTICE: I have no interest or investment in POR - just a more than 
satisfied user.
