can anyone speak to what needs to be done to install this pump?
i don't recall which way fuel flows through it, for one thing. the
unlabeled electrical terminals are of different sizes, suggesting
that someone cares about polarity, for another. the 6 mounting
is different from the GTV mounting, but i do have the original
GTV-6 mounting bracket available.
Big hole: Fuel in
Small hole: Fuel out
Big post**: Electrons in*
Small post**: Electrons out*

*: While I'm obviously trying to be clever, it's worth pointing out that good ol' Ben Franklin defined "positive" and "negative" backwards--electrons actually flow from negative to positive, so what I'm trying to say is that the big post is negative.
**: Newer, replacement pumps use spade terminals instead of threaded posts. On these pumps, the size/polarity relationship is cleverly reversed (big +, small -).
