[alfa] 164 Temp Warning Light

My temp warning light on my 91 164S has been coming on when the car is cold.
I suspect the sending unit is shot.  Which sending unit is the one that turns
on the light ?  I suspect it is the one that points toward the front.  Also, I
wonder if this could explain a slightly rough idle?
