I can understand what you are saying but never heard of that one.
First you can get bits of the stainless system, certainly from Tony Hart and 
maybe other suppliers.
Now your problem -the Head gasket is under maximum stress when the valves are 
closed!
I reckon your silencers are OK
Why do you think your head gasket blew
A) Not torquing at 12000 miles
B) Overheating
C) Wrong coolant
D) Gasket failure through long life and age
If it is your silencers I'll eat my scrap brake pads.
