Compression tests

Hi Guys,
onother question from a new member

1.Can any one tell me what sort of peak compression figures should I get for
a low compression 7.8:1 Stag in a crank-over compression test.
What would be optimal after rebuild and minimum acceptable - I can't find
reference to this in any ROM.

2. Does anyone know orf any good books for performance tuning of the stag
engine and where I can get them.
