Hi All

Just a quick question.

Is there any way of telling when a water pump is on the way out. i.e. any
noises, etc, or does the engine just overheat and go bang !?

Any views on this subject would be appreciated.

Also anyone know where I can have the hardness of a water pump checked,
preferably in NW England.
