Thanks Gerry, thats helpful.
Mine has the two conical tubes poiting forwards, and no accordians. Mine is
very early LD669. The parts catalogues seem to indicate very few USA cars had
the two tube layout.
Anyway since my car is not going into any concourse events and it works just
fine on the cooling front I will not fit the blanking plate.
