Unleaded



I know we have all been over and over this subject. And it is driving
everyone up the wall.

I am now running my Stag on unleaded, I have the TR7 spec valves fitted
and so far no problems. I have not noticed any less power from the
engine and it doesn't seem to run any different. I have noticed however
terrible pinking when the engine is labouring going up hills. I live in
the Chilterns in Buckinghamshire so hills are rife. 

I am running standard ignition timing, I will start to retard the
ignition a degree at the time, does anybody have views on what I should
be trying?
