I've been using unleaded for over 5,000 miles now and still no sign of pink
deposits on the plugs, they are as white as ever.

Note:  the first working lead replacement additive is to come on the market
early.  This is being marketed by the industry supplier of 'lead' to the
petrol companies, also the very same company and formulation used in New
Zealand for many years.  That's the upside, the downside is that as the
base metal is phosphorous, now your exhaust might glow in the dark and make
a matching set with your brake discs.
