Nice letter.
I can see you are well on the way to becoming a Stag expert.
Beautiful cars, but how they ever built them I will never know.
I have just found a good one.
I have just replaced the front rail of the hood along with the two side bars.
Old one had a welded corner, and wouldn't go down porperly.
It took me a while to grow an extra arm to hold the washers in the right place
on the bolts.
I took the cubby panels out first, having visions of dropped allsorts in the
space behind the B post.
I have fortunately got one of those Radio aerial like thingys with a magnet on
the end. Great for retrieving dropped nuts and washers and stuff, but it still
took far too long, and three goes at every joint.
But its all back together save the rubbers and velcro, which I hope (Fifteen
fingers crossed) is the easy bit.
Adjusting the tonneau steel cover catches so it closed properly was a good
one.
