If you cannot purchase a wider rubber seal.
Try smearing some clear silicone sealant along the edge, or where
necessary. You can buy small tubes of sealant from tropical fish or
pet shops. They use it for repairing tanks.
If you are only experiencing small amounts of water, this may be
all that is needed.
