Dear Bruce and all,

I get about the same,

Cold - tickover		30 psi
Cold - at revs		45 psi
Hot - at tickover		5-10 psi
Hot at revs		25 psi.

These figures are a vast improvement on the figures I got when the I first
bought the car, the only difference being that I changed the oil (not for
anything fancy - just changed it). I have now done about 2,500 miles on
this oil and get the above results.

I've just had an oil pressure gauge added to the wife's Stag ('73 Mk II)
and am mildly concerned about the oil pressure. At about 3000 RPM
after warm-up, it's 28-30psi. However, at idle (and I don't remember
the idle speed; maybe 600-700 RPM) it drops to 8-12psi. Does
anyone have any comparison numbers for me? I have my suspicions
<sigh> and they aren't good.
