Re: Auto Stag - Pressure Loss

Mike

What you say about the wrong dipstick can also be true for the engine dipstick.
When I initially put the stag back on the road, the oil pressure was a major
concern.

one day after a complete oil change and filter change, I measured the amount
of oil as per the manual and on starting the engine found that the oil
pressure had increased some 5 to 10 psi.

After letting the car sit to allow the oil to drain to the sump I removed
the dipstick and found the oil level was approximately 1/4 inch above the
line on the stick.

I have since remarked the dipstick.
