Re: [ihc] Last of the Light Lines /variations of 200

As has been mentioned, the 200 series had different variations. My father
bought a new '74 200 4X4 with a 345/auto, I bought a new '75 200 4X4, 345/4
speed. Both of these are pretty much the run of the mill 4X4's.
Over the years,I have bought several parts trucks, also '74/'75 200 series.
One is a 4X2 with what I call a dropped frame and A arm front suspension. It
also has dual rear wheels. Another is a 4X4, 392/ 4 speed, but it has a much
bigger front axle. The tie rod is much bigger also and has a dropped section.
It has single rear wheels
Any idea why these were called 200, when they are much different trucks.
