Re: [ihc] 11" clutches

In the mid-60's it appears a 10", 9 spring was the standard clutch with
11 and 12" optional with V-8 engines. By the 69 D-line, it appears that
11" clutches were the only option, even in the 1500/500 models (and even
these came standard with a 10 1/2" clutch behind the standard 6-232/258).
The MS-1210/1510 Multi Stop replacement for the Metros did have an
optional 12", but these really got a stop-and-go workout.

I would suspect the discontinuance of the 12" option more reflected
improvements in clutch state of the art rather than a downgrading of
truck capability.
