[ihc] Mack History

I looked further at the history on macktrucks.com and found the
following:

Mack did preceed IH in the truck business. They began building buses and
trucks around 1900, using the name Manhattan on them until 1910. For a
time, the company name was International Motor Company with the Mack
brand name, but the obvious confusion with International Harvester was
too great and the Mack Trucks name was adopted, although International
Motors was used as their distribution and service company for a number of
years.

The Mack Jr. was built for Mack by REO in 1936-37 and appears to be a 1/2
ton pickup. 4974 of these were build, although it doesn't appear that
there are many restored ones around.

From 1938-1944, Mack built a model ED, which is described on their web
site as a 3/4 ton pickup, although some truck book authors have described
it as a 1 1/2-2 ton pickup like the Diamond T pickups. It's load
capacity was about 1800# and 2686 of these were built.
