Digesters,

If you could own just one IH, just one, what would it be? Assuming adequate
but not silly funds (which excludes the Hearst Shawnee, etc.) to purchase the
IH you'd really want to have, what would it be? How, generally, would it be
'built'?
I suggest a late model 4X4 Scout II.
Small and maneuverable enough to park or turn around in a small space, or
to park in a *low* ceiling parking garage.
Fast enough to keep up with todays's traffic.
Economical enough to be able to drive past a lot of gas pumps.
Cargo area, with the rear seat raised, is bullet proof enough to carry
items you's never place in any other SUV.
Towing capacity with suitable hitch is enough to be able to tow the
majority of what you would want to tow.
A lot of them are also air conditioned, so you can carry passengers who
are not as demented as most IHC owners.
I've owned one 1100 pickup truck, a 4X4 travellet, and 3 Scouts.
Currently finishing up the latest Scout project.
Hope this helps
