Inspect the frame around the steering box for cracks.

AFAIK they are the same shock as the Rancho 5000's, which *are* stiff. Your
springs are a fairly high rate, similar to the Trailmasters I'm running. I
find that the Trailmaster SSV shocks work well in allowing the springs to
move at low speed deflection, but still give great axle control at speed. I
suspect that the Rancho 'speed sensitive' variant performs much the same.
I'm cheap as they come, and prolly would not have spring for the SSV's if
they hadn't been on the truck when I bought it. After realizing how well
they work, I wouldn't hesitate to purchase another set.
>Has anyone with a 4 inch suspension lift found shocks to be the limiting
factor in axle movement?
Not with stiff lift springs AFAIK.
