I'm not familiar with the 800's pedals, but...
Can you simply weld/bolt extensions to the pedals? (obviously if they have
to much arc this won't work..but if they're like my B it should probably
work fine)
You want them to be /sold/ and have little chance of breaking off under
hard braking, etc...and you don't want them to be slippery when wet, etc.
But all of this is doable...
The hand control idea is entirely possible, and there are a number of
companies who will do this, or provide parts to do it...but it means you
(and your daughter, and anyone else who tries to drive the truck) will
have to learn an entirely new method of driving... There are also
hand controls for the clutch, as well, but generally automatics are
prefered.
