Can't the Scout II T-19 input shaft be machined, shortened and  re-splined to 
work for Scout 80/800?
 
I was thinking about having this done at one point but stumbled into a  T-18. 
 
A wide Ratio T-19/196 combo would sure be nice in an  80/800.
