Ahhh. Okay, so if it looks like a 205 and the rods are side-by-side like a
205 then it's a 205.  But if the rods are over-under,
it's a 201 or 202?  Then the 205 and the 20 look a lot alike , and this one
with the 3 bolt rear cap is a 205?
Is there any need to make a 205 a twin stick?  Can it be done?
The reason I ask is because I got a deal on this 205 and it doesn't have a
shifter assembly on it, so I can do whatever I want.

NO, the way he wrot that was corn-fusing. The axis of the rods runs fore
and aft on all of them, but where the rods are side by side on a 205, they
are one over the other on the 201 and 202.
