Forgot to mention.. the tired 345 I removed from this truck would ping on 85octane with ~8deg BTDC. Same disty, same wires, same brand plugs, pulling a bit less weight.

Might've been carbon buildup on the piston or head creating a hot spot.. or might've been the "quench factor"..
